“In 2005, I was competing full time in the very competitive Formel Renault 2000 Eurocup series with SL Formula Racing team. This was my first year racing open-wheel car at the European level in a professional environment. I had everything to learn and running in fields of almost 40 cars gave me plenty of chances to learn quick. In addition, those cars were really fun to drive. The fifth weekend of the season was in Oschersleben, Germany, where we had two races.”
