“I always have a blast running at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz, especially back when I was racing in the German Formel 3 Cup for Seyffarth Motorsport. We had four races there in 2006, over two weekends. The first weekend in May went very well for me as I was always fighting for a top-10 on a 30-car entry list. I finished 8th and 7th. The second weekend at the end of July was even better and special: first of all, we were racing on the full oval configuration of the EuroSpeedway, which is quite challenging in a Formula 3 car. And even better because I clinched the pole position for race 1 and led for a while before finishing second. I also finished third in the second race so it was a very productive weekend for me.”
